Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Scunthorpe

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 5pm

About The Role

The Project Coordinator fulfils many key functions of the business, in particular the assessment, quotation, planning, booking and overseeing of traffic management projects for a variety of clients. Project Coordinators report directly to Project Team Leaders and are responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and liaising with several relevant stakeholders. Project Coordinators are often the first point of contact for clients, customers, and our partner depots, so must be well organised and confident in day-to-day communication.

Working from the Chevron TM ‘National Service Centre’ in Scunthorpe, Project Coordinators deal with works all over the UK and Ireland for a large base of existing and new customers.

Experience in Traffic Management, Highways, Streetworks, Construction or other relevant industries is desirable – but not essential – as full training is delivered

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects and clients
  • First point of contact for incoming enquiries from clients
  • Ensuring adequate PO and cost coverage for works to go ahead
  • Booking of projects into the ERP management system
  • Liaison with clients to ensure all works proceed successfully
  • Submitting permits and licences to local authorities
  • On-the-day liaison with operatives, operations team and third parties to resolve issues
  • Resolving any relevant accounts queries and providing all information
  • Any other duties required by the Project Team Leader
