Henderson Technology is an award-winning UK retail technology provider, best known for its EDGEPoS platform used across forecourt and convenience retail. EDGEPoS brings together point of sale, digital media screens, electronic shelf edge labels (ESELs), and store automation tools into a single, integrated system, helping retailers manage pricing, promotions, and in-store content from one place.

As the business continues to grow, the Project Co-Ordinator will assist the delivery of key projects and support product knowledge across departments within Henderson Technology.

A look into the role

You'll join our Project Team aiding improvement of productivity and customer service, working alongside project managers, developers, and retail technology specialists on live trials and pilot programmes.

Working as Project Coordinator you will:

  • Provide effective coordination of Henderson Technology projects, pre-sales assistance, and internal training for new product/solution implementations.
  • Aid with GAP Analysis between customer needs and system capability.
  • Monitor ongoing projects ensuring key milestones and deadlines are being achieved.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the Henderson Technology Sales Team.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on all aspects of new projects and solutions that have been implemented.
  • Provide effective and engaging product demonstrations to new and existing customers.
  • Build strong working relationships that enable new product/solution training and implement improvements.

Skills for Success

Joining us as Project Coordinator the minimum criteria you’ll need is:

  • Five GCSE’s or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • Experience of working within an IT-focused role.
  • Full, valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in managing workloads and completing objectives to given timescales.
  • Competent in the use of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products.

The Attributes you’ll need include:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills as well as strong customer focus.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • 3rd level qualification in IT, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience of Henderson Technology products and/or EDGEPoS.
  • Experience of managing a project from implementation to completion and hand over.
  • Conversant with software installation and the concepts of Networking (IP).

Standard hours of work are 36.5 per week, 5 days out of 7 days, 8:45am to 4:45pm, however, the work pattern may vary due to operational needs.
