The Role
The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring Information Systems (IS) projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and in line with business objectives. Acting as the operational backbone of the project team, you'll coordinate activities across IS and Business Units, maintain project governance, manage schedules and logistics, and support clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Support Smooth Project Delivery – coordinate day to day project activities to ensure progress against plan.
- Coordinate Stakeholders across IS & Business Units – act as a central point of contact between project stakeholders.
- Support Change Impact Assessments – assist project team in identifying user impacts, transitional steps, and readiness considerations.
- Prepare and maintain Project Documentation – produce and update project artefacts in alignment with IS governance and quality standards.
- Facilitate Meetings & Workshops (as required) – schedule and coordinate and track follow up actions.
- Support the tracking of Project Risks, Issues and Dependencies – highlighting cross-project dependencies early.
- Support User Readiness & Transition Activities – focusing on helping to ensure minimal disruption to end users during change and transformation.
- Uphold IS Governance, Standards, and Controls.
- Ensuring IS projects run efficiently, stay organised and progress against plan.
- Acting as the operational link between IS teams, business units, vendors and Programme & project managers to support alignment.
- Supporting change impact assessments, preparing user-facing materials, and contributing to transitions into Business as Usual.
- Ensuring project documentation, RAID items, reports, and templates are accurate, updated, and aligned to IS governance frameworks.
- Support effective communication flows across project stakeholders to maintain key relationships.
- Productive working relationship working alongside corporate communications team.
- Ability to convey information clearly, listen actively and respond constructively.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to focus on delivery outcomes and meeting deadlines. Maintaining momentum across projects, including complex multi-stream programmes.
