Project Coordinator
Role Overview
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of installation projects from initial planning through to completion.
Working closely with customers, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, you will coordinate resources, equipment, schedules, and project administration to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within agreed financial and operational targets.
You will act as a central point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships, providing clear updates, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual with experience in internal project management, resource allocation, and project planning. You will be confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, working independently, and using your initiative while maintaining accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation projects from planning through to completion, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within agreed targets.
- Plan and allocate technicians, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, obtaining quotations and coordinating works.
- Schedule works and monitor technicians and subcontractors to ensure projects meet specifications, timelines, and financial targets.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, managing bookings, updates, and queries throughout the project.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain team to ensure equipment and materials are organised and available on time and within budget.
- Prepare project RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) prior to works commencing.
- Complete O&M Manuals and other project documentation following completion.
- Support the Installation Manager with invoicing, financial forecasting, and monitoring project costs.
- Maintain accurate project records and complete all required project administration.
- Work closely with Sales Account Managers and the wider Installation Team to support the successful delivery of projects.
- Manage incoming customer and internal communications, including emails and telephone calls.
- Administer job reports and paperwork received from field technicians.
- Proactively identify and address issues that may impact project delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
