As project coordinator, you will:

  • Take on an agreed scope of work from the sales team and take ownership for the delivery phase of the project.
  • Act as the client’s primary contact, ensuring all commitments are met and that the client feels well informed about any changes taking place.
  • Work with your ramsac colleagues to deliver clear communication both internally and externally throughout the project process.

Based in our Guildford office, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of client projects for organisations in the SME sector, running several projects at any one time.
  • Managing resource allocation to ensure projects are brought in on time and on budget.
  • Fully own the project process from point of winning to final delivery, ensuring that internal resources are aligned, communication are clear, deliverables are met successfully, and documentation is accurate.
  • Lead internal and external meetings throughout the project lifecycle to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Manage any project delays/issues/changes in scope ensuring that all involved understand the next steps/costs and communicate agreed details back to the internal teams.
  • Communicate project process and status updates, both internally and with key stakeholders regularly.
  • Gather client feedback at the end of projects and make suggestions for future learnings.
  • Provide holiday cover for the team, caretaking projects, as well as onboarding new clients.
  • Drive the ramsac ethos of exacting standards through well managed projects.

  • Experience of managing IT projects, ideally within the SME sector.
  • Leading calls internally and externally, such as kick off, progress updates and closure calls.
  • Experience in implementing or changing internal project processes.
  • The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised.
  • The ability to motivate and enthuse your team colleagues.
  • The ability to initiate and implement great ideas.
  • A desire to drive continuous improvement within the business.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A beady eye when it comes to details.
  • The ability to remain flexible, using process appropriately but never to the detriment of the client relationship.
  • The ability to see the bigger picture, working as part of a cohesive team to drive company growth and strategy.
  • A desire to develop your own skill set at any given opportunity.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and to make clients feel that they are the most important person on the planet!

  • Experience in a multi-client environment.
  • Experience in a previous technical role.
  • Project management qualifications or formal training.
