Camarco, the Capital Markets division of APCO, is looking to hire a Project Consultant to join its Financial Services communications team.

Camarco is a leading corporate and financial communications consultancy which protects and promotes its clients’ reputations, helping them communicate with all their critical stakeholders so they can meet their business and social objectives and enhance their valuations. We offer interesting work and great client exposure.

In a world where businesses need to consider multiple stakeholders, our multi-disciplined, holistic approach to communications helps our clients, including FTSE100, FTSE250, multi-national, European-listed and private companies, navigate the complex stakeholder issues and risks of today and of tomorrow.

The Role

We are looking for bright, ambitious graduates with a genuine interest in business, financial markets and communications. Successful candidates will be intellectually curious, outgoing with a passion for meeting new people and networking, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong written communication skills, good numerical literacy, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to engage with complex issues. Above all, they will bring enthusiasm, initiative and a willingness to learn.

Previous experience in Financial PR is not required. We are looking for people who can demonstrate commercial awareness, an interest in current affairs and the role communications play in shaping corporate reputations.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the day-to-day management of client accounts, demonstrating excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Deliver high-quality work accurately and to agreed deadlines.
  • Take a proactive approach, showing initiative and a willingness to support colleagues and clients.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, journalists, analysts and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor business, financial and sector news, identifying developments relevant to clients.
  • Conduct research and contribute to client projects, presentations and new business proposals.
  • Develop expertise in industry tools and platforms, including media databases and financial information services.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of regulatory and corporate announcements, including via the Regulatory News Service (RNS).
  • Produce clear, concise and engaging written content for a range of audiences and channels.
  • Have the opportunity to progress quickly in a global company.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
