Company Description

HE Space is a successful international space company, specialised in providing managed services and human resources to the international space sector for over 40 years.

We hire space experts all over Europe across the whole spectrum of space-related activities, from engineering to science, software development, operations, marketing, finance and administration. HE Space has joined forces with CS Group and Sopra Steria to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

Job Description

  • Supporting procurement and project control activities across ESA programmes.
  • Implementing and managing procurement actions, contracts and financial documentation in ESA systems.
  • Monitoring workflows, approvals and procurement performance indicators.
  • Maintaining procurement, geo-return and planning data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Supporting contract management, milestone tracking and contract close-out activities.
  • Producing reports, KPIs and financial analyses for programme management.
  • Contributing to process optimisation and the implementation of new tools and procedures.
  • Supporting manpower planning, budget monitoring and audit activities.
  • Coordinating governance documentation and approval processes.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project support, administration, procurement, finance or a similar role.
  • Good organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong customer-focused communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
