Project Control Engineer (Sizewell C)

Amentum Sizewell C

Working on a large-scale, complex project, you will be responsible for managing project controls activities within a defined scope or supporting Programme Controls Managers in delivering integrated project controls information. You will coordinate multiple project controls disciplines, engage with supply chain partners and senior stakeholders, and provide clear, actionable insights to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate project controls activities across cost, schedule, risk and change management.
  • Support the production of performance reports, schedule updates, forecasts, variance analysis and improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with supply chain partners and assure the quality of project controls information.
  • Deliver high-quality month-end performance reporting and reviews.
  • Support Programme Controls Managers and senior stakeholders with project performance insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote project controls best practice across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
  • Desirable: Membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar professional body.

Here's What You'll Need

  • Experience as a Project Controls Engineer or Manager on large, complex infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of multiple project controls disciplines, including cost, planning, risk, change and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Experience managing stakeholders and working within matrix organisations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

Desirable:

  • Membership of AACE, PMI, APM or similar professional body.
  • Experience with Power BI and project controls reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts.
  • Nuclear sector experience.
