Project Controls Manager
Location: London
Contract: Contract
IR35: Inside IR35
Rate: £490 per day Umbrella
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead and coordinate Project Controls activities across a portfolio of complex capital projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Project Controls processes across assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain integrated project and programme baselines.
- Lead period-end processes, including progress assessment, expenditure tracking, and reporting.
- Manage change control activities across projects.
- Lead and support a team delivering high-quality project controls outputs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and reporting.
- Work with stakeholders at all levels across complex, high-value, and high-risk projects.
- Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement.

Essential Experience
- Extensive experience in Project Controls within major capital projects or programmes.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, planning, governance, change control, cost, and risk management.
- Experience using project scheduling and reporting tools, such as Primavera P3e, MS Project, and Excel.
- Experience creating, adapting, and monitoring project controls and integrated baselines.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience leading or managing Project Controls teams.
- Recognised Project Management qualification, such as APM Professional.
- Knowledge of SAP and PPM systems is desirable.
