Project Controller

A growing global business is looking for a Project Controller to join its finance function as it builds out a shared finance capability. This is a chance to influence processes and best practices from an early stage, owning complex project accounting and forecasting while partnering closely with cross-functional and senior teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic financial insights to senior leadership
  • Lead complex projects, budgets, multi-scenario forecasts, and long-range plans
  • Run forecasting cadence end-to-end with variance analysis
  • Oversee contract terms, pricing, and approve complex invoicing
  • Contribute to statutory financial statements and audits (GAAP)
  • Align reporting standards with Group Accounting functions
  • Champion process improvement and automation
  • Mentor junior staff and set quality standards

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or QBE
  • 3–5 years' project accounting or related experience
  • Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • ERP experience (Oracle or similar) and strong Excel proficiency
  • Skilled in variance analysis, margin optimisation, and cashflow management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
