Referment

Referment is working with a London-based company whose AI platform helps the world's biggest construction projects make faster, more confident, data-driven decisions, combining a large dataset of project plans with machine learning to forecast outcomes and reduce risk.

The company is looking for a Project Controls Engineer with a background in project controls, planning, or risk analysis on construction projects to join its client team. You'll work closely with senior client engineers to help clients get real value from the product, and you'll be curious about generative AI or keen to build that exposure. If you've been frustrated by the limitations of QSRA workshops, poor forecasting data, or limited time for analysis, this could be the role for you.

You'll be given real ownership early, backed by mentorship, and you'll attend monthly client visits and team meetings in the London office, with the opportunity to visit international clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
