Project Controls Engineer

Location: West London

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 + Excellent Benefits

If you're an analytical and detail-oriented Project Controls Engineer with experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business delivering some of the UK's most technically advanced developments.

My client is a specialist design and build contractor operating across the data centre, defence and energy sectors. Their projects demand accurate reporting, robust project controls and meaningful data that enables informed decision making throughout the project lifecycle.

They are now looking for a Project Controls Engineer to join a flagship hyperscale data centre development in West London, supporting project teams with reporting, performance analysis and digital project controls.

  • Support the delivery team by maintaining project controls systems, producing accurate reports and dashboards, analysing project data and ensuring stakeholders have the information they need to make timely decisions.
  • Work alongside Project Managers, Commercial Teams, Planners and Engineers.
  • Help monitor programme performance, identify trends, improve reporting processes and contribute to the continuous development of digital project controls.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has

  • Experience supporting Project Controls, Project Performance or Project Reporting within construction or infrastructure.
  • A good understanding of project controls principles and project delivery.
  • Experience producing reports, analysing project data and maintaining reporting systems.
  • Strong Power BI and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working with programme information, with Primavera P6 knowledge being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, Data Science or a related discipline.
