The postholder will work under the direction of the Head of Reporting, leading the development of future-state reporting across the programme, including Power BI capability and increased automation of reporting processes.
The role will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust, data-driven reporting framework and performance management regime, working closely with the Systems and Digital team to embed automated, consistent, and scalable reporting standards across the Programme.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the programme’s reporting framework and performance management, aligned to the PMO reporting and performance management plan.
- Driving the development of future-state reporting, including Power BI solutions, with a focus on automation, data integration, and reducing manual reporting effort.
- Working closely with the systems and Digital team to define and deliver reporting and performance management requirements within system solutions, ensuring alignment with wider digital strategy.
- Managing cross-Programme engagement (e.g. Task and Finish Groups) to ensure consistent reporting standards and alignment across the project.
- Overseeing the transition to new reporting arrangements, ensuring seamless implementation through effective change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and initial quality assurance.
- Ensuring reporting and performance management frameworks cover all aspects of the Programme, including delivery, enabling projects, and benefits realisation, aligned to stakeholder and governance requirements.
- Promoting a data-driven reporting culture, delivering clear, accurate, and insight-led outputs that provide a single source of truth for decision-makers.
- Addressing data consolidation challenges through the design and implementation of standardised templates, automated processes, and consistent data structures to ensure timely, aligned, and high-quality information across the Programme.

You’ll need to have:
- The postholder will have extensive previous experience in reporting or controls roles on large programmes in complex environments.
- Experience of rolling out new processes across matrix organisations.
- A very good understanding of the different functions within project controls.
- Ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Experience in Power BI reporting.
