Project Controls Specialist
This Project Controls Specialist role offers a compelling opportunity for experienced professionals to play a vital role in delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. With a focus on project schedules, cost management, and risk mitigation, this position ensures timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project outcomes while contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Controls Systems:
- Develop and implement project control frameworks and processes to support project objectives.
- Maintain these systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Scheduling and Planning:
- Utilize tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project to create, monitor, and update schedules.
- Ensure alignment of plans with delivery milestones and timelines.
Cost and Financial Tracking:
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, analysing variances to recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct comprehensive cost management and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:
- 2-5+ years in project controls, particularly within engineering or construction sectors.
Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and earned value management (EVM) principles.
