Project Controls Specialist
This Project Controls Specialist role offers a compelling opportunity for experienced professionals to play a vital role in delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities:
Project Controls Systems:
- Develop and implement project control frameworks and processes to support project objectives.
- Maintain these systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Scheduling and Planning:
- Utilize tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project to create, monitor, and update schedules.
- Ensure alignment of plans with delivery milestones and timelines.
Cost and Financial Tracking:
- Monitor budgets and forecasts, analysing variances to recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct comprehensive cost management and reporting.

Risk Management:
- Identify project risks early and design effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Stakeholder Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, risk analysis, and financial health for stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to streamline communication and align expectations.
Resource Management Support:
- Assist in resource allocation and optimisation to maintain project efficiency and productivity.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all project activities align with company policies, client standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related fields.
Experience:
- 2-5+ years in project controls, particularly within engineering or construction sectors.
Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and earned value management (EVM) principles.
