Role Description
The Project Coordinator is a full-time role based in Whitburn, on a 12-month initial contract. The role is responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple energy-related projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Maintaining project documentation
- Tracking deliverables
- Preparing status reports
- Coordinating meetings between engineering, operations, and commercial teams
The Project Coordinator will monitor timelines, follow up on action items, and assist with resource allocation and logistics to keep projects on track. This role also involves:

Qualifications
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including experience with scheduling, task tracking, and maintaining project documentation.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar) and the ability to interpret basic project plans and performance metrics.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different levels.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, including identifying risks, supporting mitigation actions, and following established processes.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or energy-sector environments is beneficial; familiarity with offshore or onshore projects is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
