PROJECT COORDINATOR
Hours
Full-time, 9:30am - 5.30pm with flexibility required to support system changes, upgrades and critical incidents where necessary.

The Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the firm-wide coordination of technology and technology-enabled change, ensuring that initiatives are visible, prioritised, and effectively tracked.
The role maintains a clear and structured view of the project pipeline, including dependencies, resource impacts, and delivery timelines, enabling informed decision-making across the firm.
This role is not designed to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery or act as a full project manager. It is not intended to perform technical design or implementation activities, nor to operate as a general administrative support function. Instead, the role is focused on enabling effective coordination, visibility, and prioritisation across the firm’s change portfolio.
Essential
Technical skills and expertise
- Experience in a project coordination or PMO support role
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Clear reporting and stakeholder communication skills
Desirable
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with project delivery approaches and tools
- Exposure to technology or IT-enabled change

Success Measures

- Accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a centralised view of all projects and initiatives across the firm
- Capture and track new initiatives, ensuring consistent categorisation and visibility
- Support prioritisation using a structured approach (e.g. Must / Should / Could, Now / Next / Later)
- Coordinate timelines, milestones, and dependencies across projects
- Identify and highlight resource constraints and delivery conflicts
- Ensure plans remain aligned to firm priorities and available capacity
- Produce clear, concise reporting on:
- Project status
- Risks and issues
- Resource impacts
- Support governance forums with accurate and up-to-date information
- Track actions and ensure follow-up across stakeholders
- Act as a central coordination point across IT, business teams, and suppliers
- Support communication and alignment across multiple initiatives
- Ensure stakeholders have clear visibility of progress and priorities
- Maintain consistent, lightweight documentation for all initiatives
- Ensure clarity of scope, outcomes, and success measures
- Support the use of standard templates and processes
- Support the development of a practical and scalable coordination approach
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility, prioritisation, and delivery confidence
