Project Coordinator

Location

The role is based out of our Derby office; however, we also have offices in Telford, Coventry and Birmingham that will be considered.

Salary

£33,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)

Contract Type

Permanent

Working hours

37.5 hours per week. Start and finish times to be discussed at interview stage.

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our expanding team on our Severn Trent Water contract. As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting our design and delivery teams, through managing our document control (including drawings, models etc), contributing to the quality assurance element of our project delivery process and supporting the project management teams with procurement, project meetings and site engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with delivery and design teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects to meet industry and internal targets.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the document control across several projects, including document transmittal between departments, as well as to our client and supply chain. Documents can include drawings, models, programmes and commercial instructions.
  • Support the delivery team in managing their quality objectives and assurance procedures.
  • Support the Project Manager with both internal and external meetings.
  • Co-ordinate activity between the design and delivery teams.
  • Support the management and commercial Team

About You

  • Competent user of Microsoft packages
  • Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Experience working in construction for a Contractor would be desirable
  • An understanding of project management processes would be desirable
  • Good commercial or financial awareness would be desirable
