Engineering services are delivered for the px group by the engineering consultancy division px Engineering Consultants Limited (“PXECL”). The team comprises of managers, senior engineers, engineers and designers that have direct experience of construction projects and operating facilities, as well as exceptional engineering expertise.
PXECL has established an excellent reputation with its clients and consequently much of the business is of a repeat nature. The team prides itself on the quality of its services and the strong relationships it builds with its clients and has a track record of delivering an integrated range of services. By combining technical and operational excellence, a sound understanding of regulatory environments and a robust and reliable project management system, px consistently delivers safe, efficient and compliant capital projects and services to a diverse client base supporting most industrial sectors.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Project Coordinator.
The Project Coordinator will provide support to the various projects to ensure they are delivered in an efficient manner and in line with our company policies, processes and objectives. The role is dynamic and covers tasks spanning the whole of the project lifecycle, across multiple projects, but has a strong focus on adherence to our document control process and ensuring that we complete all client documentation requirements in a timely manner. They are responsible for the coordination/completion of all technical manuals and MRB documentation.

You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project contract documents and customer specifications to ensure that all documentation requirements are understood and communicated to the project team (MDL or equivalent).
- Act as main point of contact for project documentation control & administrative matters, including issuing/processing receipt of documentation to the client, whilst adhering to customer specifications and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate internal documentation control systems, tracking documentation workflow. Generate internal and external document control status reports.
- Attend internal & external meetings; to track and progress project documentation, report any known risks/opportunities to the project teams & report on KPI metrics against key deliverables.
- Coordinate, track progress, and compile project technical manuals & MRB’s.
- Provide administrative support at project meetings including taking minutes, capturing actions, and general reporting.
- Support the Quality Manager by ensuring all project documents adhere to internal guidance on document formatting and review periods.
- Complete project audits, as required, and support the Quality Manager with business-wide process audits.

Minimum Requirements
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a project environment
- Experience of document control electronic systems for example Business Collaborator, Project Wise and BIM360.
- Awareness and understanding of project management and the project lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail & an ability to proof-read.
- Strong communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and also Adobe Pro.
- Ability to take responsibility and use initiative to prioritise and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong customer focus and professional manner.
- Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach, whilst maintaining agility and the ability to respond in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment.
