Project Coordinator (Production & Operations)

Beyond Grades · Hybrid, West Yorkshire · Full time · £28,000 to £34,000

About us

Beyond Grades works with independent schools across the UK, producing filmed and printed work for schools and the families within them. We are a young company, growing quickly, and this is our first operations hire.

The role

You will make our school projects actually happen.

We work on site at a school for two days at a time, and those days are tightly scheduled and involve a lot of people. That only works if someone has planned it precisely and is holding it together on the ground.

Between visits, you keep everything moving: paperwork checked, crews booked and verified, deadlines met, and schools kept informed.

What you’ll do

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Plan each school visit with the school office and build the schedule.
  • Handle all consent and safeguarding paperwork before any work begins.
  • Book crews, confirm their DBS status, and send crew lists ahead of every visit.
  • Run the days on site, keeping several things moving at once and keeping to time.
  • Chase what we need from schools and families, without becoming the person they dread hearing from.
  • Track every order so nothing is missed or duplicated.
  • Keep our production pipeline supplied and delivery dates met.
  • Be the person a school knows they can ring.

What we need

  • Someone who has run something complicated with a fixed deadline. A wedding, a conference, a school trip, a rota, a production. We care far more about that than about your job title.
  • Genuinely organised. Not “good with spreadsheets” but the sort of person who notices that one form is missing from ninety-eight.
  • Calm when a plan falls apart, which it will.
  • Comfortable talking to a headmaster and a fifteen-year-old on the same afternoon.
  • A full driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK, with occasional international travel to meet suppliers.
  • Experience in a school, events, or production would help. None of it is essential.
