Project Coordinator (Night-Shift)

Working hours

Sunday 16:00 - 06:00, Mon - Thurs 22:00 - 06:00

Hybrid, Milton Keynes

12 month FTC - likely to extend

We are recruiting on behalf of a global technology company that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join its team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to work for an international organisation involved in delivering high-profile technical projects across the United Kingdom and overseas.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting project delivery from inception through to completion, working closely with management, sales, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist with the coordination and management of projects from initiation through to completion, including scheduling, documentation, and resource planning.
  • Communication: Serve as an intermediary between senior management, the customer project management team, and internal departments to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain all relevant project documentation, including training materials, method statements, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate asset tracking, engineer communications, and project records. Produce management information reports detailing stock usage, engineer utilisation, and project performance.
  • Operational and Administrative Support: Create purchase orders and web shop orders as required. Support order management activities such as job creation, closure, and data updates.
  • Process Accuracy and Improvement: Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and make recommendations to improve accuracy and operational processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in project coordination, operations, or a similar administrative support role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with service management systems (such as Protean or similar).
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
