What does a Project Coordinator - Commercial Pipeline & Innovation mean at Prinova?

As our Project Coordinator for Commercial Pipeline & Innovation, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining the commercial opportunity pipeline, ensuring opportunities are accurately recorded, effectively progressed through defined gate processes, and reported in a timely and consistent manner.

You will act as a central point of coordination between Commercial, Product Development, and other business functions, maintaining visibility of opportunities, supporting governance processes, and providing reporting and analysis to support decision-making.

You will also have the opportunity to support Innovation and New Product Development activities.

What to expect?

Salesforce Opportunity Management

  • Input, manage and maintain all manufacturing opportunities within Salesforce across Premixes, Flavoured Blends, and Contract Manufacturing
  • Ensure all opportunities are entered accurately and contain complete information.
  • Liaise with Commercial Leads to obtain, validate, and update opportunity information.
  • Maintain data integrity, consistency, and quality across the opportunity pipeline.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure records remain current and accurate.

Opportunity & Gate Process Coordination

  • Monitor opportunities through defined gate stages.
  • Ensure actions, approvals, and required information are completed at each stage.
  • Identify and highlight overdue actions, missing information, and potential risks.
  • Follow up with relevant stakeholders to maintain opportunity progression.
  • Escalate bottlenecks and delays to Commercial Leads and the Innovation Project Lead where appropriate.
  • Maintain gate records and supporting documentation

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce monthly pipeline reports for SLT, Regional Managers, and Commercial stakeholders.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and pipeline summaries.
  • Analyse pipeline performance by customer, opportunity stage, value/volume, and launch date.
  • Identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities within the commercial pipeline.
  • Support the development and enhancement of Power BI reporting tools.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of Product Development and formulation resource utilisation by customer and opportunity.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a key point of contact between Commercial teams, Product Development, the Innovation Project Lead, and external partners where required.
  • Facilitate communication across departments involved in opportunity progression.
  • Ensure stakeholders remain informed of project status, actions, and dependencies.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement & Team Support

  • Support improvements to opportunity management processes and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of pipeline governance tools and dashboards.
  • Provide cover for key opportunity management and reporting activities when required.
  • Support wider Innovation and business improvement initiatives.

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience within FMCG, ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industries
  • Experience managing data and reporting within business systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Previous experience with Salesforce (desirable)
  • Power BI experience (desirable)
  • Project Management experience or qualifications (desirable)
