An opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator to join the Product & Delivery office on a contract basis.

About the role

The Project Coordinator provides essential support to Project and Programme Managers in the delivery and coordination of complex, high-value advanced power systems programmes. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all tasks, milestones, and deliverables are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with programme objectives. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the Project Coordinator contributes to the seamless operation of project delivery through proactive coordination, communication, and progress tracking. What you will do

Project Coordination and Support

  • Assist Programme Managers in the day-to-day execution of project scope & objectives.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and timely progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, schedules, and action registers.
  • Ownership of task tracking & follow-up actions with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of reports, dashboards, and meeting materials.
  • Ensure meeting outcomes, actions, and decisions are documented and communicated effectively.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a central coordination point for project communication and information flow.
  • Liaise across departments to ensure contributors remain informed, aligned, and accountable.
  • Support internal and external stakeholder engagement to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Escalate issues or risks promptly and assist in implementing mitigation actions.

Continuous Improvement and Delivery Support

  • Take initiative to identify and address delivery gaps, ensuring progress continues as planned.
  • Contribute directly to project execution activities where necessary to maintain momentum.
  • Support adherence to governance frameworks, processes, and standards across programmes.
  • Promote consistency in delivery practices, contributing to process and system improvements.

About you

Essential

  • Experience in project coordination, administration, or support roles—ideally within a product development, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other enterprise project management systems.
  • Exposure to engineering, product lifecycle, or manufacturing programmes.
