Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday. 8am to 2pm Friday.
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the flow of information and activity between site teams, design, production, and planning to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The role supports the effective processing of projects from approved drawings through manufacture, monitoring progress, labour hours, and performance against agreed targets.
Project Coordination & Communication
- Act as a central point of contact between site teams, production, planning, and internal departments
- Liaise with site teams to confirm requirements, priorities, access constraints, and delivery programmes
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of project information across all stakeholders
Drawings & Technical Information Management
- Receive, review, print, issue, and control approved drawings for manufacture
- Ensure correct drawing revisions are issued to production at all times
- Identify discrepancies, missing information, or buildability concerns and raise these with the appropriate parties
- Coordinate RFIs and technical clarifications as required

Production & Planning Support
- Process projects from order through to manufacture in accordance with agreed programmes.
- Liaise closely with production planning to ensure work is scheduled effectively
- Monitor project progress through the factory and proactively highlight risks to delivery
Cost, Hours & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor labour hours against project budgets
- Track manufacturing progress and identify variances from plan
- Produce regular KPI reports, including:
- Budgeted vs actual labour hours
- Production progress and output
- On-time delivery performance
- Provide accurate data to support commercial reviews, variations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and trackers
- Prepare reports for operational and senior management
- Support audits and quality processes as required
Skills And Attributes
- Effective Communicator with a persuasive and assertive style
- Experienced with manipulating complicated situations to achieve the required objective.
- Organised and accurate with experience of maintaining records and data sets.
- Experience in a construction or manufacturing related business
- Excellent MS Excel ability.
- Able to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- Experienced with ERP systems and materials management systems
