The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Project Coordinator - Global Philanthropy to join Robert Walters as a Consultant.
As a Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an assignment within our clients' organisations. In return, we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional support.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global business, providing top-tier service to our blue chip clients.
What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of complex grant-funded programmes, overseeing partner relationships, monitoring progress against objectives, reviewing reports, and maintaining governance documentation.
- Lead the end-to-end grant-making process, including partner identification, due diligence, approvals, and ongoing portfolio oversight.
- Coordinate the delivery of strategic programmes and events, managing planning, logistics, stakeholder engagement, execution, and post-event activities.
- Conduct research and maintain programme data to support business planning, reporting, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to ensure successful programme outcomes and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and communications while proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.

What you bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within philanthropy, social impact, corporate responsibility, nonprofit, charitable, or community-focused organisations.
- Strong grants and portfolio management experience, including due diligence, governance, reporting, and performance oversight.
- Proven end-to-end programme and project delivery experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated events management expertise, covering planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination, and delivery.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience working across senior stakeholders, delivery partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills, alongside a good understanding of the UK social impact, small business support, and financial inclusion landscape.
