Our client is looking for a highly organised Junior Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of technology and digital projects.
1 Day per week in Birmingham
Salary is up to £26,000 + benefits
This is a junior to entry level opportunity that would suit someone at the beginning of their career or with some initial experience in project support, administration or coordination.
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will help maintain the systems, documentation and communication channels that keep project teams aligned, informed and working towards agreed deadlines.
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will help ensure projects are properly organised, progress is clearly communicated and potential issues are identified early.
- This is a practical and detail focused role for someone who takes ownership of their workload, works at pace and is eager to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
Project Setup and Administration
- Create and maintain project workspaces, folders, task lists and documentation using project management tools.
- Add project templates and ensure tasks, milestones and deadlines reflect the agreed project scope.
- Assign responsibilities to appropriate team members, maintaining clear visibility and accountability across each project.
- Ensure project information is accurate, organised and accessible to everyone involved.

Team Coordination
- Share relevant project folders, documents and resources with internal teams.
- Establish communication channels and ensure the appropriate stakeholders are included.
- Help coordinate teams working across different locations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor project actions, tasks and deadlines to ensure work is completed as planned.
- Identify delays, risks or blockers at an early stage and escalate them to the appropriate project lead.
- Maintain project dashboards and status information so clients and internal stakeholders have an accurate view of progress.
- Follow up with team members to ensure outstanding actions are completed.
Delivery Support
- Support the setup and coordination of project discovery and planning activities.
- Prepare projects for development phases by creating task lists, assigning responsibilities and confirming that resources are available.
- Record and monitor issues, risks and dependencies raised during delivery.
- Ensure actions are clearly categorised, assigned and followed through to completion.
- Support the Project Manager and technical teams with preparation for testing, client acceptance and product launch.

What Our Client Is Looking For
Our client is looking for someone who is customer focused, highly organised and interested in developing a career within project coordination.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in project delivery, technology or digital services.
- Some experience in administration, project support, customer service or a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
- A strong customer focus and the ability to keep people informed.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
- The ability to follow instructions quickly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail across systems, documentation and communications.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- A clear focus on completing work on time and to a high standard.
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
