Description
The Project Coordinator provides comprehensive support to ensure the effective delivery of products and programmes, including input into the development and maintenance of project plans and information systems, managing meetings with appropriate papers, co-ordinating regular updates, financial tracking, and tracking progress against project KPIs.
Responsible for providing support into the development of products, including relevant research, scoping, and proposals for opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Programme/Product Development Support
- Support in scoping possible projects and agree action plan with line manager.
- Provide programme design support.
- Work with your line manager to ensure programme schedules are suitable for the region based on local intricacies.
- Provide support and input into product development discussions and possible market opportunities.
Project Coordinating
- Provide project support to all programmes, to include, Cyber Academies, Foundations and CyberStart.
- Coordinate the successful setup and running of relevant programmes and pilots, including licensing, courses, collateral, webcasts, partners, communications, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Organise all project-related paperwork.
- Build and/or maintain an appropriate information system, with versioning control, for relevant programmes.
- Support in the implementation of new projects.
- Track all programme spending associated with your activity.
- Ensure tasks being undertaken are in line with programme goals.
- Identify risks and report correctly.
- Log and report lessons learned correctly.
- Provide regular reporting into your line manager at agreed intervals.
- Demonstrate impact of the any programme by collating case studies and statistics.
Other Responsibilities
- Provide additional support where needed, if asked to do so by your line manager.
- Assist in any wider industry engagement activity as part of a programme, if necessary.
- Manage relevant external event staff and ensure their duties are fulfilled correctly.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
Experience
- Relevant experience supporting, coordinating or delivering projects or programmes.
- Experience of organising and prioritising multiple activities, managing completing priorities and working to agreed deadlines.
- Experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of maintaining accurate project or programme documentation, records, action logs, plans or similar information.
- Experience of producing clear progress updates, reports or management information.
- Experience of using data, statistics or other evidence to monitor progress or demonstrate outcomes.
- Experience of undertaking research, gathering information and contributing to the scoping or development of projects, programmes or proposals.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to plan work effectively and follow activities through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a range of audiences.
- Ability to build positive working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and other stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain accurate and well-organised project information, including appropriate document and version control.
- Knowledge of identifying project risks, issues or dependencies and able to escalate these appropriately.
- Ability to track project or programme expenditure accurately and work confidently with numerical information.
- Ability to collate and interpret information and data for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
- Confident using standard workplace productivity and collaboration tools, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations and shared information systems.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining project records, financial information, reports and programme documentation.
- Ability to organise meetings and programme activity, including coordinating attendees, information, actions and follow-up requirements.
- Ability to adapt plans and priorities in response to changing programme requirements while continuing to meet agreed deadlines.

- Relevant knowledge and capability gained through education, vocational training, professional development and/or equivalent practical experience.

Knowledge
- Knowledge of or interest in cyber security and/or the cyber skills and education sector.
