Project Coordinator Intern

We are adding a Project Coordinator Intern to our team to help manage a specific project for a client in London. This client is currently dealing with a series of fragmented internal systems and needs our help to consolidate their data into a single, reliable admin panel. You will work closely with our developers to track progress and ensure the client receives clear, consistent updates as we move their operations away from spreadsheets and into a custom database.

About Pixel Systems

Pixel Systems is a small, fully remote software agency. We do not build flashy consumer apps or marketing sites that change with every new trend. Instead, we focus on the practical tools that teams actually use to run their businesses. This includes things like admin panels, CRM integrations, and database migrations. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get different software tools to finally talk to one another.

We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything: the code, the documentation, and even walkthrough videos when we are finished. We use reliable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain. We are a team of senior professionals who prefer solving real operational headaches over chasing the latest trends.

The Role

As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will be the bridge between our technical team and the client operations staff. This is a fully remote role where your main goal is to keep the project moving forward without friction. You will spend your time organizing documentation, tracking the status of specific developer tasks, and helping prepare for our weekly client demos. You will not be expected to write code, but you will be expected to understand the progress the developers are making so you can relay that information clearly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

A typical day might involve checking in on the status of a database migration, updating a project timeline, or helping a developer draft a clear explanation for a new feature. You will also help with the quality assurance side of things, testing the tools we build from the perspective of an end user to make sure they are intuitive and solve the problem at hand. It is about the practical logistics of delivery: making sure nothing falls through the cracks and that everyone knows what the next step is.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote environment. Since this is an internship, we do not require years of professional experience, but we do need you to be a clear communicator who can write in plain English. You should be the kind of person who enjoys creating order and keeping track of lists. Being able to explain a technical update to a non-technical client without using jargon is a major part of this role.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate clearly in writing and in video calls.
  • Comfort with remote work and managing your own schedule.
  • A practical mindset: you care more about the tool working than it looking trendy.
  • The ability to ask questions when a task is unclear.
  • Reliability in following through on small, repetitive tasks that keep a project running.
  • Curiosity about how software projects are managed and delivered.

Helpful Background

While we will teach you our specific workflow, it is helpful if you have some basic familiarity with the tools we use and the way software is built. This position is a paid role, and the pay is competitive for the entry-level market. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the ropes of project coordination in a low-drama, high-output environment.

Working at Pixel Systems

Working at Pixel Systems means working in a flat structure where the focus is entirely on shipping good work. Because we are a small team, you will have a direct view of how a software agency operates from the inside. There are no unnecessary layers of management here. We rely on clear, written communication to stay aligned across different locations. You will see the direct results of your work as the tools we build help real people, like warehouse managers or operations teams, do their jobs more efficiently. We value stability, honesty, and getting the job done right the first time.

We focus on building software that lasts and maintaining relationships built on trust. Our projects are defined by clarity and fixed goals, which means we avoid the frantic environment often found at larger agencies. If you appreciate a workplace that values practical solutions and straightforward communication, you will find this role rewarding. We look forward to bringing someone on who is eager to help us deliver high-quality systems to our clients.
