About The Team & Role
The IT Portfolio Delivery team is seeking a driven Project Coordinator to join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The PMO provides the structure, process and oversight needed to help teams deliver projects successfully and consistently across the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of our IT & Digital Information Security Programme, while supporting and guiding stakeholders at all levels of the university. The role offers a flexible work arrangement where the successful candidate will work from the office for two to three days a week and remotely for the remaining working days. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration, team engagement, and relationship building with the flexibility, autonomy, and improved work-life balance offered by remote working.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
