Project Coordinator - Parcel Locker Deployment

Salary: £36,004 with guaranteed pay progression, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 10% annual bonus potential and company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates.

Position: Permanent, Full Time.

Location: Royal Mail, Tyneside Mail Centre, Earlsway Tvte, Gateshead, NE11 0YY. Three days per week office based, two days remote.

Join Royal Mail's growing Out of Home network and play a key role in delivering one of the UK's largest parcel locker expansion programmes.

As a Project Coordinator - Parcel Locker Deployment, you'll be at the heart of our deployment operation, coordinating activities from site acquisition through to installation and activation. Working with internal teams, external suppliers and 3rd party hosts, you'll help ensure new parcel locker locations are delivered efficiently, accurately and on schedule.

About The Role

  • Coordinate the deployment of parcel locker locations across the UK.
  • Review site information, photographs and supporting documentation to ensure locations are survey ready.
  • Validate returned site surveys for accuracy, completeness and compliance before progressing to the next stage.
  • Track key project milestones, including surveys, installations and activation dates.
  • Manage locker activations, connectivity checks and escalation of issues where required.
  • Maintain accurate project and deployment records across multiple systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and site hosts.
  • Support continuous improvement by developing process guides and coordinating project activities.

About You

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

You'll have:

  • Experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Deployment Coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal, external 3rd Party suppliers.
  • A solution-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence using multiple software systems and processes to support project delivery
  • A customer-focused mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and develop.
