Job Title: Project Coordinator (Post-Production)
Post / Hours: Full time / permanent
Location: Glasgow Office (100 Brand Street, Glasgow, UK)
Salary: £26k to £30k (depending on experience)
Reporting To: Head of Localisation
Start Date: 01 September 2026
Job Description:
Voquent is seeking a meticulous and energetic Project Coordinator to join our post-production team in Glasgow, UK. You will expertly manage a variety of projects, including:
- Voiceover casting and recording
- Multi-language dubbing
- Video localisation
- Accessibility deliveries for business and entertainment projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Follow project briefs supplied by the business team and ensure all deliverables meet client expectations.
- Pre-production Support: Liaise with suppliers to provide a wide range of pre-production support, including checking availability, confirming rates and timescales, and gathering auditions.
- Client Relations: Liaise with customers on live projects to communicate scheduling information and project-related updates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all materials and services provided are of the highest quality and delivered within time-sensitive schedules.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address challenges to fulfil client briefs.
- Process Improvement: Identify enhancements to project-related processes to improve service delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with transcribers, translators, voice actors, dubbing artists, directors, clients, and internal teams.
- Knowledge Demonstration: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Voquent's services and offerings.

Essential Skills:
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Rapid typing ability and the capability to craft clear, friendly, and complete emails daily.
- A talent for multitasking and the ability to handle pressure effectively.
- Proficiency in budget tracking and planning.
- Sharp problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- A willingness to ask critical questions to achieve the best results.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing or coordinating audiovisual or localisation projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Responsive, detail-oriented, accountable, and customer-focused.
- Previous experience using CRM or project management applications.
- A background in audiovisual production, media production processes, or related industries.
What You'll Do:
- Master Voquent’s services and take charge of arranging and coordinating voice actors, studios, and translators.
- Work closely with Voquent's Account Managers to bring client project briefs to life.
- Brief suppliers and negotiate rates with professionals around the world.
- Track and maintain projects to keep them within budget.
- Keep colleagues updated through our project management applications.
- Regularly engage with clients on calls and recording sessions, providing friendly, expert advice to help them make informed project decisions.
- Deliver top-quality results within tight deadlines while keeping clients, suppliers, and internal teams informed.
- Tackle challenges proactively to meet client goals.
