Reporting To: Maintenance & Inspections Delivery Manager

About the Role

Dron & Dickson is looking for an experienced and driven Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of electrical maintenance, inspection and project activities across our offshore contracts.

This is a varied role that combines project planning, cost control, technical oversight and people management. You'll act as the key link between our clients, offshore teams and internal departments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Liaise regularly with clients and internal planning/logistics teams to monitor project progress.
  • Attend client and internal planning meetings.
  • Ensure personnel, equipment and documentation meet mobilisation requirements.
  • Coordinate activities between offshore and onshore teams to support project delivery.

Project & Contract Management

  • Manage project activities in line with contract and client requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate timesheets, invoice approvals and financial administration relating to contracts.

Cost Control

  • Assist with budget preparation and cost analysis.
  • Raise service and material requisitions as required.
  • Monitor expenditure against budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support the preparation of Value of Work Done (VOWD) reports.

Quality, Compliance & Competency

  • Ensure compliance with company and client management systems, policies and procedures.
  • Verify that all required HSEQ documentation is completed and submitted.
  • Support employee development through mentoring, training and competency assessments.
  • Review competency records and trade tests in line with company assurance processes.
  • Promote continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical project support to meet client and contract requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant industry standards and legislation.
  • Support project teams with technical guidance and problem-solving.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support business development and networking activities.
  • Undertake occasional travel as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • City & Guilds Level 2, NC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong project coordination or project management experience within an industrial, electrical, energy or offshore environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with experience monitoring budgets and project costs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

  • COMPEX 01, 02, 03, 04 & 14.
  • Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET/MISTS).
  • UKOOA Medical.
  • Experience managing offshore electrical maintenance or installation projects.
