Doncaster Sheffield Airport Project Coordinator

Doncaster Sheffield Airport is entering an exciting new phase as preparations continue for the airport's reopening and future growth. We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of aviation, infrastructure, and operational projects.

Working within a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will play a key role in supporting project governance, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement, helping to ensure projects are delivered successfully and contribute to the airport's long-term success.

About The Role

The Project Coordinator will provide project coordination, governance, and project support across a range of airport projects. Working closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational objectives and governance requirements.

You will coordinate project activities, maintain project documentation and performance information, monitor progress, and support decision-making across multiple projects. The role also includes responsibility for leading and delivering smaller projects, providing an excellent opportunity to develop project management experience within a complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of aviation, infrastructure, and operational projects, ensuring objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Lead and deliver small-scale projects, taking responsibility for planning, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and successful delivery within agreed timescales.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk and issue registers, project documentation, governance records, and performance reports.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, resources, and key performance measures, identifying risks or delivery challenges, and supporting corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate project boards, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities, preparing reports, presentations, agendas, and action logs to support effective decision-making.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes, governance arrangements, and reporting practices across the airport's project portfolio.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
