Overview

Expleo is seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead to direct the successful delivery of a time-critical software assurance uplift programme transitioning an existing software baseline from DAL D to DAL A compliance. The role is responsible for overall programme execution, ensuring delivery against contractual milestones, assurance evidence schedules, cost targets, quality objectives, and customer expectations.

Working at the interface between engineering teams, assurance specialists, customer stakeholders and programme management, the Project Delivery Lead will provide leadership, governance and control across all delivery activities, ensuring risks are actively managed and certification objectives remain on track.

This role is based full-time on-site, working directly alongside customer engineering and assurance teams throughout programme execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex DAL D to DAL A software assurance programme.
  • Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, schedules, dependencies and delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage delivery against agreed milestones, contractual commitments and assurance evidence submissions.
  • Own programme RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
  • Lead programme governance forums, delivery reviews and customer reporting activities.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering, software assurance, verification and quality teams.
  • Monitor programme performance against schedule, cost, resource and quality metrics.
  • Manage change requests, scope evolution and re-baselining activities where required.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management across internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery readiness of engineering environments, toolchains, processes and supporting infrastructure.
  • Maintain close engagement with customer representatives, technical authorities and programme leadership.
  • Support commercial management activities including forecasting, resource planning and delivery assumptions.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and defence governance requirements throughout programme execution.
  • Promote a strong delivery culture centred on predictability, quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
