Project Delivery Manager

Deliver projects. Build relationships. Protect the standard.
UK-wide role | Regular travel and working away | Company vehicle | Hotels & subsistence

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we're strengthening our leadership team by investing in a dedicated Project Delivery Manager.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of engineering projects across the UK from planning and mobilisation through to completion - keeping the client informed, coordinating the project, maintaining commercial control and making sure nothing gets missed. This is not a desk-based project management role. We are a field service engineering business, and this position is predominantly connected to live project delivery on site. You'll be close to the works, close to the client and close to the team.

The Engineering Supervisor leads the engineering team and the technical execution of the works. The Project Delivery Manager leads the wider project around them - client communication, programme, coordination, resources, documentation, commercial matters and overall delivery. And when the project is under control and the team needs another capable pair of hands, we expect our Project Delivery Manager to put on their overalls and get involved.

The role changes with the project. Some projects will demand more client management and commercial control. Others will allow more time alongside the engineering team. What matters is having the judgement to know where you add the most value without ever losing control of the project.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Will Own

  • Take ownership of projects from handover and planning through mobilisation, delivery, completion and handover.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the client throughout project delivery and build trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate programme, labour, plant, equipment, subcontractors, suppliers and project interfaces.
  • Keep project documentation, progress updates and internal communication accurate and current.
  • Identify scope changes, additional work and variations early; document them, agree them with the client and keep the office updated on cost and commercial impact.
  • Monitor progress against programme and budget and act early when recovery or additional resource is needed.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Supervisor, responding to technical and resource requirements without taking over the Supervisor's responsibility for running the engineering works.
  • Maintain visibility of quality, safety, client expectations and commercial performance throughout the project.
  • Get involved physically when appropriate and when doing so supports successful completion of the project.

Project Delivery Manager

Owns the overall project: client, programme, coordination, documentation, commercial control, resources and successful delivery.

Engineering Supervisor

Owns the engineering execution: engineers, technical delivery, quality, productivity, safe working and the practical completion of the works.

What We Stand For

Growth must never come at the expense of the standards that built our reputation. Our leaders are expected to protect and strengthen these principles on every project:

  • Engineering Excellence: We aim for the right engineering solution and maintain strong technical standards.
  • Quality: If our name is attached to a project, we should be proud of the result.
  • Ownership: We do not walk past problems because they belong to someone else. We take responsibility and see them through.
  • Professionalism: Our clients trust us with important assets and live operational sites. Our communication, preparation and conduct must reflect that trust.
  • Relationships: Projects finish; relationships continue. We communicate well, manage expectations and build confidence through consistent delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

You may already be a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, Senior Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or experienced field-service professional ready to take broader ownership. The job title matters less than whether you can operate confidently between the client, the project and the engineering team.

  • You take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do.
  • You can build credibility with clients and communicate difficult news professionally when required.
  • You are commercially aware and understand that undocumented changes and poor communication cost money.
  • You are organised enough to keep control of documentation, programme and resources while a busy project is moving around you.
  • You understand site work and are comfortable around engineering teams, plant, lifting operations and live industrial environments.
  • You are willing to travel nationally, work away, start early and work extended hours when project delivery requires it.
  • You are practical, calm under pressure and prepared to put on your PPE and help when the project needs you.

Why Join Circular Renewables?

You'll join a specialist engineering business where your contribution is visible, your decisions matter and you can have a direct influence on the quality of the projects we deliver. This is a newly strengthened leadership role created to support a growing project portfolio and a business that is deliberately investing in the people and structure needed for sustainable growth.

As the business develops, there will be genuine opportunity for the role to develop with it. We are building more project-delivery capability, more engineering leadership and more field teams - while protecting the culture and standards that got us here.

Package

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Company vehicle
  • Hotels and subsistence provided for working away
  • Company pension
  • Phone and laptop
  • Training and professional development
  • Long-term progression within a growing specialist engineering business

If you want to own challenging projects, build strong client relationships and be part of a team that takes pride in delivering engineering work properly, we'd like to hear from you.
