Project Delivery Manager

At Comex 2000, we're delivering major civils and telecoms infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire, creating the foundations that support the UK's next-generation networks.

We're looking for an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of civils operations across the region. You'll take ownership of operational performance, ensuring excavation, ducting, chamber construction and reinstatement activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, local authorities and clients, you'll drive productivity, compliance and customer satisfaction while ensuring successful delivery across multiple civils workstreams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of civils infrastructure projects across the East Midlands.
  • Manage field teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and right-first-time delivery.
  • Oversee excavation, duct installation, chamber construction, reinstatement and associated streetworks activities.
  • Drive performance against programme, operational, quality and commercial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements, permit conditions, traffic management regulations and SSHEQ standards.
  • Monitor resource allocation, productivity and cost performance across multiple projects.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, local authorities, highways authorities and key operational stakeholders.
  • Identify delivery risks, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support, coach and develop operational teams to achieve high performance and strong safety standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
