Project Delivery Manager – Data Migration
Contract: 12 months
Rate: £500-550 per day (inside IR35)
Location: Kingston upon Thames (hybrid)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Delivery Manager – Data Migration to join a major global transformation programme. The role sits within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and business separation programme, supporting the migration of critical master and transactional data across a complex global application landscape. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end tracking, coordination and governance across the data migration workstream, ensuring progress, risks, dependencies and issues are clearly understood and actively managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tracking and coordination of data migration activities.
- Maintain an integrated view of migration scope, milestones, readiness and dependencies.
- Coordinate across IT, business teams, application owners, deployment teams and systems integration partners.
- Produce governance dashboards, RAID reporting and senior stakeholder updates.
- Identify and manage cross-application data, integration and migration risks.
- Challenge unclear ownership, incomplete plans and delivery risks.
- Coordinate issue resolution across SAP, global applications and downstream platforms.
- Support testing, cutover and go-live activities.
- Facilitate governance meetings and cross-functional working sessions.

About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 5–8+ years' experience in project delivery, programme governance or data migration.
- Strong experience within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Proven experience coordinating complex, multi-application delivery.
- Strong understanding of data migration, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, testing and cutover.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or enterprise ERP transformation.
- Strong RAID, governance and executive reporting experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The confidence to challenge stakeholders and drive actions through to completion.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience within a carve-out, separation or major business transformation programme would be particularly advantageous.

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel potentially required during key testing, cutover and go-live phases.
