The Role
Do you have a passion for creating vibrant town centres and thriving local communities? We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Delivery Officer to support projects and initiatives that enhance the attractiveness, vitality and economic performance of Bromsgrove and Redditch's town and district centres. Working with businesses, community organisations and partners, you will help deliver activities that make our centres great places to live, work, visit and invest.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of projects, programmes and initiatives that promote business growth, workforce development and economic prosperity across the two districts.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local employers, education providers, training organisations and strategic partners.
- Assist in the development of funding bids, project proposals and business cases to attract investment into business and skills programmes.
- Monitor project performance, analyse data and evaluate outcomes to ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits for businesses and residents.
- Support events, workshops and promotional activity.
- Produce reports, briefings and performance information for senior managers, elected Members and funding bodies.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience of supporting or delivering economic development, business support, employability or skills-related projects.
- Knowledge of business support, economic growth and skills programmes and how they contribute to local economic development.
- Understanding of business needs, economic trends and the challenges facing local employers and communities.
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce reports and present information clearly.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and contribute to service improvement.
- Educated to HND/C, Level 4 equivalent or degree level in a business, project management or related discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.

Desirable
- Experience of monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes.
- Experience of preparing funding applications or securing external funding.
- Knowledge of financial management, procurement or project monitoring processes.
- Experience of working with employers, colleges, training providers or business networks.
