Job Title: Project Delivery Professional-Submarines
Location: Derby/Hybrid
Working Pattern: Full Time/ Permanent
Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Waterfront and Flotilla team for a Project Delivery professional to join us.
As a Project Delivery Professional, you will be accountable for Control account management of Waterfront and Flotilla. You will maintain schedule(s) for the assigned work scope in line with the Submarines monthly planning cycle.
IMRS offer support the whole RRSL business, providing NDE, Mechanical, Welding and Project capabilities to all RRSL sites.
What you will be doing
As a Project Delivery Professional within the Flotilla and Waterfront team you will be primarily responsible for:
- Managing the Control Account for Flotilla and Waterfront Programme
- Supporting the Project Team by securing contracts with our Enterprise partners to deliver planned and emergent Submarines maintenance
- Building and maintaining relationships with the relevant customer
- Working with delivery teams to secure and manage the resource required to undertake the work scope of each contract including supporting the resolution of resource conflicts
- Identifying and managing risk across contract portfolio
- Managing the P6 schedule and SAP budgets
- Generating and managing Network and Activity numbers
- Reporting performance in accordance with the contract requirements
- Supporting Key Meetings within the Flotilla and Waterfront Programme
- Providing schedule updates for each contract including deliverable management
- Submitting financial inputs (turnover/order intake/margin/cash) into the annual forecast submissions

Position Qualifications:

- Ideally a member of a professional body or working to achieve appropriate level of qualification (region-specific).
- Experience in a project domain or equivalent industry experience.
To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
