Job Title: Project Delivery Professional – Submarines
Location: Derby
Working Pattern: Full Time / Permanent
Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Controller to join the AUKUS programme team. The AUKUS programme team has a broad range of accountabilities that deliver on Rolls-Royce involvement in the AUKUS trilateral agreement. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to be involved in a multigenerational programme at a very formative time.
What you will be doing:
You’ll be focused on collaborative working within a dynamic team, ensuring the effective deployment of programme management tools and processes. Responsibilities include:
- Interfacing with internal teams to ensure a cohesive programme that delivers the programme requirements
- Developing materials to support various internal and external customer reviews
- Providing information in support of business case development and supporting contract bid activities
- Provide input to financial management processes, including estimating costs and managing cost profiles.
- Maintain, develop & communicate the plan in the designated planning tool sets (both P6, DevOps and SAP)
- Ensure the project controls processes are effectively deployed and maintained

Position Qualifications:

- Broad, general knowledge of Project Management
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage relationships
- Organised with a proactive attitude
- An adaptable individual who is content dealing with the ambiguity present in the early stage of the programme
- Experience of planning, ideally with Primavera P6, and experience of project delivery or project controls
- Attained an APM Project Management Qualification or can demonstrate equivalent PM knowledge

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
