Project Designer - Workplace Design & Build

London | £50,000 + bonus

Would you like to take ownership of workplace projects from the initial client brief through to the finished space?

A well-established London workplace design and build specialist is looking for a talented Project Designer to join its close-knit SME team.

You will remain involved throughout the full project lifecycle. You will develop and pitch the creative concept, produce the technical package and support the project through to successful completion.

The role

  • Take client briefs and develop creative, commercially viable design concepts
  • Produce mood boards, visuals, specifications and technical drawing packages
  • Present proposals directly to founders, CEOs and other senior stakeholders
  • Undertake site surveys and prepare base-build drawings
  • Work with Project Directors and pre-construction colleagues to deliver within budget
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers on technical details, products and costs
  • Support project delivery on site and maintain strong client relationships

About you

You will ideally have at least three years’ commercial workplace design experience.

You will be confident using AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop, with the ability to combine creative concept design with practical technical delivery. Previous experience leading projects is important, alongside strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach.
