About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically driven Project Detailer to join the Keywall team where you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions that meet client requirements. You will ensure to deliver prompt responses to enquiries, maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, and work closely with internal teams to achieve project and site delivery deadlines. You will also play a key role during project handovers, ensuring drawings, technical information, and manufacturing requirements are produced accurately and delivered on schedule to support successful project execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, specify, and price structurally compliant Keywall products and systems, producing accurate quotations, technical schedules, and engineering solutions.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical assessments, CAD drawings, and supporting documentation in accordance with industry standards, client specifications, and company procedures.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable engineering solutions.
- Provide expert technical advice and respond promptly to customer enquiries, support clients throughout the enquiry, design, and project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, design meetings, site visits, and technical reviews.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design, manufacture, and delivery milestones are achieved in line with customer programmes and business objectives.
- Coordinate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure successful project handovers and on-time delivery.
- Monitor project variations, delivery requirements, costs, and forecasts, ensuring commercial performance and accurate production planning.
- Assist in the preparation of installation guides, technical manuals, and supporting documentation where required.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture by ensuring designs comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies while encouraging safe working practices.
- Support the development of junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
Success in this role comes from being highly organised and commercially aware with a passion for delivering high-quality technical solutions. You'll combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and customer service, enabling you to manage multiple projects while building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
You will also demonstrate:
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Good understanding of construction methods, structural support systems, and building regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience producing technical quotations and specifications
- Strong ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD/design software
- Experience using Bluebeam or similar PDF markup software is desirable.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a construction estimating, technical engineering, or design role.
