We are partnered with a leading main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major commercial developments across London.

This is a senior opportunity for an established construction professional with a proven track record delivering £50m+ commercial projects, combining new-build and complex redevelopment experience.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will have involvement from the tender and PCSA stages through to construction and final delivery, providing strategic leadership across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of major commercial projects valued at £50m+.
  • Take projects from tender and PCSA through to construction, completion and handover.
  • Work closely with the Project/Construction Director and wider senior leadership team.
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary project delivery team.
  • Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
  • Provide strategic oversight of programme, commercial performance, quality, safety and delivery.
  • Drive the project through pre-construction, procurement, mobilisation and live construction.
  • Identify and manage project risks, opportunities and key delivery challenges.
  • Oversee procurement and supply-chain strategy.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards across programme, cost and quality.
  • Provide clear reporting and project governance to senior management and the client.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience delivering commercial new-build projects.
  • Strong redevelopment / refurbishment experience.
  • A track record delivering projects valued at £50m+.
  • Full project lifecycle experience from tender / PCSA through to delivery.
  • Strong pre-construction and buildability knowledge.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • The seniority and credibility to lead complex projects for a leading main contractor.
