Remote, UK | Late-Stage Clinical Development | Phase III

Allerton Bishop is partnering with a late-stage biotechnology company to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead a critical programme through Phase III development and towards regulatory submission.

This is a high-profile opportunity to join an innovative biotech at an important stage of its development, taking responsibility for the cross-functional leadership, planning and execution of a late-stage clinical programme.

Working across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Quality and other key functions, the Project Director will provide the structure, governance and leadership required to maintain momentum against major development milestones.

Key Responsibilities

As Project Director, you will:

• Lead the cross-functional delivery of a Phase III development programme.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering key clinical, regulatory, CMC and operational milestones.
• Coordinate activities across Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, Quality and external partners.
• Establish clear programme governance, priorities, timelines and accountability.
• Identify programme risks, dependencies and critical-path activities, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.
• Provide clear programme reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Manage relationships with external partners, CROs, vendors and other strategic stakeholders.
• Support planning towards regulatory submission and future commercialisation.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across geographically dispersed teams.
• Drive execution in a fast-moving biotech environment where priorities and requirements can evolve rapidly.
