Role purpose:
Technical responsibility of fixed price projects on large, complex perimeters (typically 80 to 120 Engineers) including the responsibility to ensure the project activities are undertaken in accordance with the agreed quality, cost and delivery objectives, as well as ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Customer Management
- Validate the ALTEN offer during the Bid and any modification afterwards
- Answer to the technical requirements of the customer
- Responsible for the validation of delivery acceptance notes
- Responsible for the organization of the external committees
- Accountable for the customer to respect the delivery Time Cost Quality
- Monitor delivery progress with the customer

People Management
- Consulted for the PL nomination (shared responsibility with the Business Manager)
- Validates the adequacy of the resources and the project needs
- Monitors the technical skills of the team and ensures that appropriate technical/project training is available
- Responsible for the project organisation/service delivery in order to be compliant with customer requirements
- Responsible for pre-validation of team members involved in relevant activities
Project Management
- Support the Project Leader in the Project Management activities (resources, risks, delivery schedule, quality, etc.)
- Decide the activities to be nearshored/offshored, if any
- Prepare the external committees with the Project Leader
- Responsible for risk management
- Define and maintain the organisation, roles and responsibilities of each colleague within the organisation
- Approve the project plans and processes
Other Internal Responsibilities
- Validate ALTEN technical offer and any modifications
- Validate production and estimation to completion in project form
- Manage the margin for the project (shared responsibility with BM)
- Report operational situation during monthly review
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or master's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as Engineer, Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Lead Engineer or integrated Project Lead
- Must have Energy industry background
- Technical Project Management background: estimation, project planning, risk management
- Demonstrable experience in coaching and leading teams, and managing autonomously relevant projects, being a key actor in client meetings
- Experience working independently, being result oriented, having an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholder management and natural leadership
