Project Director (Commercial Interiors)

The Shore Group is conducting a search for a relationship driven Project Director (Commercial Interiors) on behalf of an established and market-leading Design & Build business.

This is not a traditional project delivery role.

We are seeking an individual who is equally comfortable building relationships, identifying opportunities, influencing key stakeholders and leading projects from concept through to completion. Someone who understands that exceptional projects are won long before they are delivered.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will become the face of the business for a portfolio of key clients, taking ownership of relationships from initial engagement through to successful project delivery. You will play a critical role in winning work, growing accounts, developing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.

This opportunity has been created for a high-performing individual currently operating within a leading Design & Build environment who has outgrown their current remit and is seeking a role with greater influence, client ownership and commercial responsibility.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
