About the Role: Project Director (Health) – Real Estate

We are seeking a commercially astute Project Director with Health programme experience to join our Real Estate team.

This is a unique opportunity to take defined leadership responsibility on a multi-billion-pound Health programme—positioning you to make a significant impact while growing within our market-leading Health Division.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a major Health programme across multiple functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive collaborative success.
  • Oversee projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Plan and secure essential programme resources, utilising appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Lead, manage, and delegate effectively to a programme team, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and workforce engagement.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues, expertly implementing mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Ensure the programme remains on track through adherence to relevant project management methodologies and standards.
  • Sustain and facilitate stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
  • Monitor and report on programme progress and performance using measurable metrics and key indicators.
  • Evaluate the impact and benefits of the programme using evidence-based methods and tools.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle.
  • Professionally qualified at postgraduate level, with an internationally recognized project management qualification (mandatory).
  • Degree-qualified, preferably with a cognate degree (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or related fields).
  • Extensive experience in Health-related projects, or large-scale real estate/infrastructure programmes.
  • Proven skills in contract administration, including familiarity with standard commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, with a drive to optimise value and efficiency.
  • Strong familiarity with NEC (New Engineering Contract) terms.
