Role: Project Director-Level Project Manager

Client: International Multi-disciplinary Consultancy

Location: London - new office

Salary: Competitive salary & package


Our Client:

Our client is an international Cost & Project Management Consultancy and are recognised as a leading practice in their locations, with a name for being able to anticipate and successfully resolve their client’s problems.

Working on projects up to £850,000,000 in value and with a pipeline of 50% Public and 50% Private work, they turn their hand to a diverse range of sectors, from Residential through to Education, Medical, Commercial & Fitout.


The Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled Project Director-level Project Manager to join them as their first Project Management hire in the London market. The goal is to grow out their offering in London and deliver an existing pipeline of work, as well as build a team and interface with clients.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a well-established International Consultancy and join as they build a London office from the ground up.

Your duties will include a lot of client management, business development and project delivery - as well as assisting in hiring your team in time.

You will ensure your projects meet their budgetary objectives, and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis. You will take the lead in the definition of the project scope & objectives, create and coordinate a comprehensive project schedule, and ultimately ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Requirements:

  • Third Level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management
  • Track-record in delivering significant projects effectively
  • Be comfortable contributing to internal strategy/working groups as required
  • Previous exposure to managing teams
  • Prioritize meeting the client’s needs in order to ensure repeat business
  • Should understand the value in building and maintaining internal & external relationships
