Project Director – MEP Data Centres
Salter Grange has been exclusively retained to appoint an exceptional Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship hyperscale data centre project in East London.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the MEP package on a £135 million project for one of the world's leading data centre operators. The scheme is being delivered through a major joint venture between two internationally recognised contractors, offering the successful candidate the chance to work on one of the UK's most significant critical infrastructure developments. The London campus continues to expand as one of Europe's largest and most connected data centre campuses.
We are seeking a proven MEP Project Director with an outstanding track record of delivering large-scale data centre projects. This is an MEP-focused leadership role, taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of the mechanical and electrical package from construction through commissioning and handover.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
