We are partnering with a leading international consultancy delivering one of the most largest hyperscale data centre campuses currently under construction in Europe.
This is a exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Director to take ownership of the first 230MW phase of a landmark development in Narvik, Norway. Reporting directly for the client, you will lead the successful delivery of a project that will set new benchmarks in scale, sustainability and technical excellence.
This isn't simply another data centre project. It's the opportunity to shape a major development while working with some of the industry's most respected contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
The Opportunity
As Project Director, you will have overall responsibility for the planning, execution and delivery of the project from construction through to commissioning and handover.
You will be the driving force behind programme performance, commercial delivery, quality, safety and stakeholder management, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards whilst leading multidisciplinary teams across the entire development lifecycle.

Reporting directly into senior leadership, you'll be trusted to make strategic decisions and influence the successful delivery of one of the largest live data centre projects in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a 230MW hyperscale data centre development.
- Provide strategic leadership to project teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Drive programme certainty while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Manage relationships with EPC contractors, specialist subcontractors and design partners.
- Oversee commercial performance, project budgets and risk management.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved through proactive planning and leadership.
- Lead governance, reporting and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate design, construction, commissioning and client handover activities.
- Champion collaboration across all disciplines to deliver world-class project outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

About You
We're looking for an established senior leader who has successfully delivered complex, high-value construction programmes within mission-critical or major infrastructure environments.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale construction projects exceeding €500M in value.
- A proven background delivering hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, energy or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong client-side leadership experience or the ability to transition from a Tier 1 contractor into a client representative role.
- Exceptional commercial awareness and programme management expertise.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary delivery teams across multiple workstreams.
- The ability to influence executive stakeholders while maintaining focus on project delivery.
