Project Director – Client Services
Location: London / Leeds / Hybrid | 2–3 days office-based
The opportunity
We’re looking for an exceptional Project Director – Client Services to join a high-performing creative agency, working across integrated campaigns, communications and live events for ambitious, high-profile clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who thrives where strategy, creativity, people and delivery meet — someone who can take a complex brief, shape it into something brilliant, and then lead the people, process and commercial thinking required to make it happen.
You’ll work across a broad mix of integrated communications and campaign projects, with work spanning internal communications, through-the-line campaigns, creative content and experiences, alongside major conferences and events.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced agency professional with a proven track record of leading complex projects and building trusted, long-term client relationships.
You’ll bring:
- Strong agency experience, with expert project and delivery management skills.
- A proven track record delivering integrated communications and campaigns at a senior level.
- Exceptional client relationship skills, with the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and turn great delivery into repeat business, increased scope and long-term partnerships.
- Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing complex budgets of £250k+, project profitability, forecasting and revenue growth.
- The confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams, including Project Managers and creative specialists, bringing everyone together around a shared brief and outcome.
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to spot risks, challenge assumptions and solve problems before they become issues.
- The ability to write and shape an exceptional brief, advocate for your client and make confident decisions, often with incomplete information and under pressure.
- Strong emotional resilience, adaptability and a positive, solutions-focused approach to pace and change.
- A genuine passion for creative work and the ability to balance client, creative, delivery and commercial considerations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
